Well, 2010 is gone and 2011 proves to be starting off with me lagging again on my event calendar. I guess I should of made this website a New Year’s resolution but since I didn’t, I won’t worry that I broke a resolution already.

We’ve loss another very special friend...on Feb. 19th, Johnny
Nitro died. For those that never heard him play I am sorry.
Johnny was a S.F. Blues Legend who blessed The Caboose with his presence and especially his wonderful sounds. We are thankful for all he did to promote the blues and The Caboose. Johnny hosted a monthly jam session at our joint and because of him we had some awesome musicians play here, thanks to Johnny presence. He also supported the car show and gave the Dagoon’s project cars to work on.

and laughter. Thanks to all the bands, Dagoons,
Johnny’s family and all the friends who came ( even in
the horrible weather) to honor a great man. His
tribute was a wonderful success. RIP Johnny Nitro.
Thank you for your music, memories and spirit. You
will never be forgotten.

proceeds benefit the Dan Hart education fund.
This run is very special to all of us @ the Caboose
because Dano was so special. Check in between
9 -10 AM. Breakfast Buffet, prizes, raffles,
music and BBQ @ the end of the ride. Donations
$25 single $30 double.
